General Questions
What materials do you use?
I use two main types of plastic, depending on the product:
PLA (Polylactic Acid): Used for weaving cards and indoor items. It’s plant-based and biodegradable under industrial composting conditions—an eco-friendlier option for crafting tools.
- Note: Some products may use a composite mix of PLA called PLA+ and are not guaranteed to be compostable.
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol): Used for more heat tolerable products. PETG is more durable and weather-resistant, making it better suited for outdoor environments.
Can I request custom names, colors, or designs?
Not at the moment. As a solo maker, I’m focusing on refining and expanding the core collection. I hope to offer customization in the future!
How do I care for 3D printed items?
3D printed plastics are sturdy, but not indestructible. Here are a few care tips:
- Heat Sensitivity: PLA and PETG can warp or deform if exposed to high heat (e.g., inside a hot car, near a heater, or in full summer sun for extended periods). Avoid exposing products to temperatures above 100°F or 40°C.
- Sunlight & UV: PETG holds up better outdoors, but over time, UV exposure can still cause fading, brittleness, or bending.
- Cleaning: Clean gently with a dry cloth or duster. Spot clean with a damp cloth only if needed. Do not submerge the products or leave it water for prolonged periods. Dry completely before use.
- Durability: Do not expose products to harsh chemicals.
- Breakage: Like most plastics, dropping or flexing parts too hard may cause cracking - especially for thinner or detailed sections.
Handle with care, and your items will last a long time!

What are weaving cards, and how do they work?
Weaving cards are flat tools used in tablet weaving—a technique that produces strong, decorative bands. They’re ideal for fiber artists or anyone wanting to try a new craft. Each card is printed for easy and smooth weaving.
How are 3D printed weaving items made?
The process of creating 3D printed items involves designing a 3D digital model that is then transformed into a physical object through additive manufacturing. This method allows for intricate designs and customization that traditional manufacturing methods may not achieve. The result is a product that is both functional and visually appealing.
